A long ribbon of park running from the Youghiogheny at Ohiopyle to the Conemaugh Gorge near Johnstown, across four counties. The 70-mile Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail is the park, with shelters spaced for backpackers along its length.
The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk.
