One of the newer additions to the system, straddling Blue Mountain outside Harrisburg and named for the big trees it protects. Deep-forest warblers nest in them; the old field below fills with wildflowers through summer and autumn.
The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk.
