About White River Falls State Park

White River Falls plunges 90 feet over a basalt shelf, with an overlook a short walk from the parking area. A steep 0.7-mile trail drops to the hydroelectric plant at its base, which powered Wasco and Sherman counties from 1910 to 1963.
