About Luckiamute State Natural Area

A quiet north and south parcel where the Luckiamute joins the Willamette, a stone's throw from the Santiam confluence. The three-mile North Unit Loop crosses meadow and Oregon ash forest; the south parcel's old gravel pond is good habitat for western pond turtles.
