Oregon State Scenic Area
A lighthouse, wide ocean views and the sprawling-limbed “Octopus Tree”, a tenth of a mile from the parking lot. From April through July the cliffs and offshore rocks nest thousands of seabirds, including common murres and pigeon guillemots.
$10–$12 per vehicle — Day-use parking permit: $10 per day for Oregon residents, $12 non-resident; $60 for a 12-month permit ($75 non-resident). No permit needed if you walk, bike or are dropped off, or if you are camping in the park.
