Taconic State Park's second developed area, with 15 ground sites and 26 platform sites beside the pond. Boat rentals and a launch sit below the same trail system that runs the length of the range.
$7 per vehicle — Vehicle Entrance Fee: $7/car Collected weekends only, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Bus: $35 Know Before You Go Pet Policy A maximum of two pets are allowed in campsites and day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals). Boating Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day season and weekly boating permits are available as well as rentals. Additional Trails Located nearby, the Harlem Valley Rail Trail is a picturesque paved trail for running, walking and biking. A portion of the Appalachian Trail can be accessed near Taconic State Park.
Park is open year round, sunrise to sunset, weather and conditions permitting.
