About Herkimer Home State Historic Site
A Georgian mansion built around 1764 for Nicholas Herkimer above the Mohawk River. Its household took in his family, enslaved people, encamped soldiers and neighbours sheltering from the fighting in the valley.

The tours run every hour on the hour beginning at 10am, with the last tour leaving the visitor center at 4pm.
