About Herkimer Home State Historic Site

A Georgian mansion built around 1764 for Nicholas Herkimer above the Mohawk River. Its household took in his family, enslaved people, encamped soldiers and neighbours sheltering from the fighting in the valley.

Free entry — Admission: $4 Adults $3 Seniors/Students Children under 12 are free.
