New York State Trail · Tompkins County
An 8.4-mile stone dust rail trail along the western slope of Cayuga Lake, running through a mix of woodland and pasture. Trailheads at Cass Park in Ithaca and Taughannock Falls give parking at either end.
The trail is open year-round from dawn to dusk.
