Twelve acres at the tip of a peninsula in Jamaica Bay, mixing beachfront, wetland and woodland out in the Rockaways. Once an Audubon bird sanctuary, it stays a quiet spot for hiking, fishing and watching migrating birds.
Entrance to Bayswater Point State Park is free, and all public programming and amenities are free of charge. Park Use Permits are required for the following:: Film and photoshoots of any size. Reserving a picnic area. Gatherings of 10 or more people.
