About North Point State Park
The Bay Shore Amusement Park drew summer crowds here from 1906 to 1947; its 1,310 acres are now parkland, with the Defenders Trail running out to a 1,000-foot pier and the Black Marsh wildlands behind. The trolley station visitor center opens weekends in summer.
