About Historic Lake Scott State Park

A spring-fed 100-acre lake lies in a wooded canyon on the high plains, beside El Cuartelejo -- the northernmost known Native American pueblo and a National Historic Landmark. Three small campgrounds and 11 miles of trail share the 1,020-acre park.
