Construction Posted Mar 10, 2026 - Two large projects on the park's west side may bring weekday noise & dust near Sunset Ridge Campground & the Boat Inspection, Decontamination Station. Intermittent road closures, detours may occur with little notice.
Two lakes, green lawns and real shade turn a stretch of Grand Valley desert into the area's recreation hub. Swim, boat and fish, or use its 56 campsites as a base camp for the canyon country around Grand Junction.
