Office hours 7am-7pm, Park open 24 hours a day to visitors; these hours vary as well due to seasonal employee personnel availability.

About Buffalo Bill State Park
Finished in 1910, the 325-foot dam behind Buffalo Bill Reservoir was then the tallest in the world; the park now borders about 9,000 acres of water near Cody. Camp at Lake Shore by the boat ramp or at North Fork, with showers and a playground.

Park Campgrounds & Day Use Areas are Open - Water and shower facilities are weather dependent in May and September.
October - April:
North Fork Campground Closed; Stagecoach Campground Closed; Sheep Mountain Day Use Area Closed; Rest of park open to camping and day use, ALL water systems turned off for the winter season.
