Posted Oct 1, 2026 - There will not be drinking water available at Stuart Island Marine State Park from October 1st through April 15th. Please plan accordingly and pack in your own water.

Construction
Posted Sep 18, 2026 - Reid Harbor will be under construction starting Oct. 13, with expected completion in February 2027. Work includes replacing the dock, removing linear moorage and repairing the pumpout station. Expect to see a large barge with a crane and hear construction noise, as crews work with the tides. Moorage will still be available, but pumpout services won’t be available and boaters may not be able to get to shore. Pumpout station closed Oct. 14 - Nov. 23, 2026.

The north-westernmost San Juan island, with about 6,000 feet of shoreline and sunsets that glow orange over clear water. Camping and moorage at Reid and Prevost harbors, some sites reserved for arrivals under human or wind power.
