About Muckross State Park
An 80-foot waterfall drops below a small dammed pond in this undeveloped 204-acre park, left to Vermont by the estate of Pulitzer-winning journalist and senator Edgar May. Unmarked roads and footpaths reach rocky lookouts over the Connecticut and Black River valleys year-round.
