About Coolidge State Park
The Civilian Conservation Corps built this park in the 1930s within the 21,500-acre Calvin Coolidge State Forest, near Calvin Coolidge's birthplace at Plymouth Notch. Its 36 lean-tos and 26 hillside sites look over the Black River Valley, and several sites take horses.
