The park and Chesterfield County are partnering to present Outdoor Fest on Saturday, Sept. 26 from noon until 5 p.m. Enjoy activities, vendors, music, food and more. Parking fees are waived for National Public Lands Day. Also at 8 a.m. that morning is the first annual Beaver Tail Trail four mile race. Nearly 8,000 acres twenty miles from Richmond, with more than 90 miles of trails, three lakes and a seasonal Aquatic Center of pools and water slides. A Civilian Conservation Corps museum and a 2,000-seat amphitheater sit alongside.
