The day-use area is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The main office is open 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. with extended hours Memorial Day through Labor Day.

About Hungry Mother State Park
One of Virginia's six original state parks, built around a 108-acre mountain lake. A sandy beach and bathhouse, cabins, yurts, a six-bedroom lodge and boat rentals sit among wooded hiking and biking trails.
