About Good Earth State Park

From 1300 to 1700 A.D., Omaha, Ponca, Ioway and Otoe peoples traded pipestone here, southeast of Sioux Falls, at the largest Oneota site yet found in the upper Midwest. A visitor center tells the story; trails, a nature playscape and loaner snowshoes fill out the day.
