About May Forest State Park
Twenty-three acres on Charleston Harbor with 756 feet of shoreline, a moss-draped entrance drive and a screened gazebo at the water's edge. A chapel with stained glass from the 1890s stands beside the former Sisters of Charity motherhouse, open for tours.
