The only continuously intact towpath canal left from the great canal-building era of the early 1800s, running 60 miles beside the Delaware. Mule-drawn boat rides and the Lock Tender's House at New Hope; the towpath itself is the trail.
The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk.
