About Bucktail State Park Natural Area
Not a park you park in so much as one you drive: 75 miles of PA 120 through a narrow valley from Emporium to Lock Haven, named for the Civil War regiment of woodsmen raised here. Elk country, with fishing and paddling access along the way.
