About Boiler Bay State Scenic Viewpoint

A rugged, basalt-rimmed bay and one of Oregon's best places to see ocean-going birds — shearwaters, jaegers, albatrosses and murrelets among them. The boiler of the J. Marhoffer, sunk by an explosion in 1910, shows at low tide.
