About Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park

A day-trip park forty miles from New York City, built around a pool that holds 3,500 bathers at once. Spacious picnic areas can be reserved ahead for families or large groups, and Lake Mohansic sits alongside.

Trails are open daily from sunrise - sunset, year-round

Park gates close at sunset.

Lot #1, Commuter Lot is open weekdays 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and follows park hours on weekends and holidays.

Park Office Hours - Office is open daily year-round

Summer: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Off-Season/Winter: 8 am - 4 pm

Hours: Open Wednesday-Sunday 10:00 am-6:00 pm with last entry at 5:30 until Labor Day.

Lap lanes are open 10am-2pm Wednesday-Sunday.
