About Beaver Island State Park

950 acres at the south end of Grand Island in the upper Niagara River, with a half-mile sandy beach and an 80-slip marina. Championship disc golf and 18-hole golf courses share the grounds with nature trails.

Facility hours

Beaver Island Nature Center is open seasonally, from July 4 through Labor Day. Thur-Sun, 12:00 pm-5:00 pm.

Golf: 5/4 - 11/5 (weather permitting) Montana International – Beaver Island State Park Golf Course

Disc golf: available year-round. Disks and scorecards available in park office.

Beaver Island Marina: 5/4 - 10/13

Big Six Marina: 5/4 - 10/13

Swimming: 11:15 am - 6:45 pm

Weekends only: Memorial Day Weekend until 6/15

Daily: 6/20 until Labor Day

Sledding: Seasonal, dawn to dusk when conditions allow.

Snowmobiling: In designated areas only. Seasonal. Trails open from 10:00 am - 10:00 pm.
