About Mt. Washington State Park

A 58.8-acre parcel on the highest summit in the Northeast, 6,288 feet up and ringed by the White Mountain National Forest. The Sherman Adams building holds a visitor centre, cafeteria, shops, an observatory and its museum; the Tip-Top House of 1853 still stands beside it, and on a clear day you can see 130 miles.
