About Rosebud Battlefield State Park

Rolling prairie where Crook's thousand troops met Crazy Horse's warriors on 17 June 1876, eight days before the Little Bighorn. The Northern Cheyenne name it Where the Girl Saved Her Brother; three thousand acres are a National Historic Landmark.
