About Golden Memorial State Park

This day-use park near Walnut Grove recalls a one-room schoolhouse from after the Civil War and keeps a 15-acre spring-fed fishing lake. Its Loblolly Pine Trail passes the state's second-largest loblolly, and two pavilions host picnics.
