Missouri State Park
Nine of the thirteen Cherokee detachments forcibly relocated to Oklahoma crossed the Mississippi here in the harsh winters of 1838 and 1839. Exhibits tell that history; the park above the river adds camping, trails and a boat ramp.
April through October: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
November through March: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
