Due to lack of air conditioning and extreme heat, Tours are only available at 10:00am and 11:00am through Sunday Sept. 6. The Shaw House is open regular hours Wed-Sun 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Currently "Moments That Made US" is on display. Virtual tours of the Valle House are also available at no charge.
Missouri's early French roots in Ste. Genevieve. The American-Federal style Vallé house was built in 1818 and is furnished as it would have been in the 1830s, showing American influence on the French community after the Louisiana Purchase.
