About New Germany State Park
A 13-acre lake dammed in the 1800s to power a sawmill sits at the center of the park, ringed by cabins and the Acorn, Gazebo and Ice House camping loops. Savage River State Forest wraps around it between Big Savage Mountain and Meadow Mountain.
