About Mystic River State Reservation

Almost every bank of the Mystic River in Medford is public land, starting at the Amelia Earhart Dam where Mystic Lakes drain out. Before the 1800s these shores were mostly salt marsh; today the reservation takes in Draw Seven, Mary O'Malley, Mystic Lakes and Torbert Macdonald state parks.
