About Willow Slough Fish & Wildlife Area
J.C. Murphey Lake covers more than 1,200 acres at the centre of 10,175 acres of dune, oak savanna and forest, and draws waterfowl by the thousand. Begun in 1949; the lake was renovated between 2022 and 2024.
