About Hillenbrand Fish & Wildlife Area
Three thousand six hundred acres of reclaimed surface mine north of Linton, 60% grassland with 125 acres of wetland. Its name honours John A. Hillenbrand II, an Indiana businessman; Goose Pond manages it.
