Bruneau Dunes State Park entrance fee

$7 per vehicle — Motor Vehicle Entrance Fee required: $7 a day at most parks and $14 at premium parks (IDPR); waived with an Idaho State Parks Passport or MVEF annual sticker.

About Bruneau Dunes State Park

North America's tallest single-structured sand dune rises 470 feet here, with lakes at its base holding bluegill and bass. Rent a sandboard at the visitor center, stay at one of 82 serviced sites or two cabins, and look through the observatory's telescopes after dark.

Main Observatory season runs every weekend March 15-October 15. Winter hours may vary, please contact the park for more information. Sand board rentals run year-round. The Visitor Center is open 7 days a week during season. Hours vary during winter, please contact the park for more information. Water in most park facilities will be turned off mid-October. Water is available year-round in the Equestrian Campground from 3 frost-free spigots.
