About Traveler's Rest State Historic Site
Georgia's last stagecoach inn, built around 1815 on the Unicoi Turnpike over the Appalachians. Devereaux Jarrett doubled its size and made it the home of a 14,400-acre plantation; three generations of his family lived here.
