About Pickett's Mill Battlefield State Historic Site
One of the best-preserved Civil War battlefields in the country, where the Federal advance on Atlanta was stopped on 27 May 1864. Visitors walk the same roads, earthworks and ravine, with a furnished 1800s pioneer cabin on site.
