About Lone Mesa State Park
11,618 acres of high mesa country north of Dolores, rising from 7,200 to just over 9,000 feet through prime elk, deer and bear habitat. Access is limited: the park opens for permitted big-game hunting, spring turkey, volunteering and education programs.
