Visitors can access the park by parking at the San Diego Archaeological Center located within the park. This museum offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the history of the San Diego region, including the important cultural resources preserved here (see operating hours and additional information below). Visitors have to access to park trails and will enjoy the opportunity to explore California history at the museum and through special events at the park.

About San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park

Trails, an outdoor amphitheatre and a visitor center commemorating the Kumeyaay and the soldiers who fought here on 6 December 1846, in the bloodiest battle of the Mexican-American War. Currently closed to visitors.
