About Eastern Kern County Onyx Ranch State Vehicular Recreation Area
Over 26,000 acres on the western edge of the Mojave Desert, off State Route 14 — the second largest unit in the OHV division and its newest. Elevations run 2,200 to over 6,400 feet; come self-contained, as there are no hookups or water.
