Granite spires rising some six thousand feet over the upper Sacramento River give the park its name. Camping, fishing and steep trails toward the crags, just off Interstate 5.

Hours
Castle Crags is open for camping on a first-come-first-serve basis. Day-use hours are from 8 AM until sunset. Self-Registration is required. Rangers will verify payment.
