About Salcha River State Recreation Site
Six campsites and a public-use cabin sit on the Salcha River, 40 miles southeast of Fairbanks. A boat launch, grayling fishing and a July salmon run draw anglers, and the frozen river serves skiers and snow machiners in winter.
