Two campgrounds with 67 sites, a boat launch and picnic shelter sit on Lake Louise, where lake trout, whitefish, burbot and Arctic grayling are caught. Bird Island holds the only recorded freshwater cormorant nesting site, and the Nelchina caribou migrate through in October and November.
